CO2 and Natural Gas Storage Engineering

Major challenges to storage projects are the projection of the distribution of the stored fluid vertically and laterally from the injection wells and maximum injection rate of individual wells.  Maximizing the storage of fluids on the property in which storage rights are owned is an important aspect.

I can work with you to screen and select storage sites, design pilot tests, and commercial scale storage projects.  I am available to support injection permit applications.

For active projects, surveillance of the project includes periodic testing of the well and reservoir using pressure transient and reservoir modeling techniques can ensure efficiency of the process and compliance with the injection permit.  I can ensure your compliance with your permit, and look for areas to reduce project costs that maintain containment and meet injection targets.
